Trash Reminder

As a reminder, trash receptacles must be kept in the appropriate location out of public view after dusk on the day of trash pick-up. The City of Dallas has reached out and stated that fines will start being issued by the city if homeowners are not in compliance. Please find the below section of the Eko Park CC&Rs for location and times that trash receptables must be in compliance with.
Article 7, Section 27. Trash – “Each Resident will endeavor to keep the Property clean and will dispose of all refuse in receptables designated specially by the Association or by the City for that purpose. Trash must be placed entirely within the designated receptable. The Board may adopt, amend, and repeal Rules regulating the disposal and removal of trash from the Property. If the Rules fail to establish hours for curbside trash containers, the container may be in the designated area from dusk on the evening before trash pick-up day until dusk on the day of trash pick-up. At all other times, trash containers must be kept inside the garage or out of public view and may not be visible from a Street or another Residence. Should the Declarant or Board of Directors find there is a need for a central waste disposal bin the Association shall obtain for use such a bin however, this shall in no way eliminate or interfere with the Owners responsibilities to comply with the restrictions herein for use of individual containers.”
